NYC Baby Shower

This weekend, Natalie Trento Events had the privilege of planning and designing a Baby Shower for a lovely mom-to-be with the help and insight of the shower's two fantastic hosts.

Because the mom-to-be would like the gender of the baby to be a surprise, rubber duckies were the theme for the shower and gender-neutral shades of yellow, gray and white were the color palette.

A Milestone Birthday

In honor of my Stepfather's 60th birthday, he and my mother decided to invite their nearest&dearest to a dinner party at a gorgeous little inn along the Delaware River. Although I had never dined in this particular space, I was familiar with the inn and jumped at the chance to be in charge of flowers and decor for this celebratory event.  

Mercury glass accents, tall taper candles, and jewel-toned flower arrangements lined the long farm table to create a sense of warmth and occasion.

Menus were custom designed and printed in-house on silver-foiled paper from LCI.

The evening was filled with stories from friends and family, great wine, and lots of laughter.

Feature in Style Me Pretty

This past week I was so excited to see Laura and Brendan's beautiful Cranberry Island Wedding featured on Style Me Pretty.  For those of you who are unfamiliar with Style Me Pretty, it is a blog that profiles real weddings to serve as inspiration to couples who are in the planning process. The weddings they choose are always gorgeous so we are thrilled to have been featured!  Big thank you to Hailey Tash for her beautiful images - she really captured the spirit of the day!

Turn! Turn! Turn!

In thinking about how to start off my first blog post on my new website (Thank you so much Erin and Luca of Sullivan & 3rd!  You are both so amazing!) I could not get the song Turn! Turn! Turn!  out of my head. And specifically, the line "to everything there is a season." Perhaps it is because I spent two hours this weekend watching Forrest Gump (best soundtrack ever by the way!) when I really should have been packing. Or perhaps it is because launching a new website and a new brand feels like a new season for me, and the song just rings true at the moment. 

Natalie Trento Events has made a lot of progress since we first launched a year ago. We are so delighted to have been able to be a part of some very special weddings and events, and cannot thank our clients, friends, and family enough for all of their support. Our new website and brand is a tangible representation of this progress and we are excited for all of the adventures to come.

Stay tuned for additions to our Portfolio within the next few weeks. We are thrilled to be planning some amazing weddings and parties this summer so I promise that more photos are to come.
